I am an award-winning educator, practitioner, and activist. I am a digital pioneer who seeks to clarify issues surrounding Black Women and Femmes, Online Gender-Based Violence and Hate Speech, Health Communications amongst the Black diaspora, Misogynoir, Black Popular Culture, and more. I fearlessly approach these topics and am deeply committed to freeing people from outdated beliefs.

I am available for speaking engagements, media appearances, guest lectures, curriculum development, community building, research consultant work, content moderation, and training and development workshops on various topics.

  • It was a pleasure to co-lead the GLOW affinity group at Highland High Springs High School with KáLyn (Kay). Kay is mentoring and empowering the next generation of young women through their dedication to feminist hip-hop pedagogy. Kay developed a sister circle that empowers girls and femme non-binary youth to explore their identities, connect with peers and mentors, boost their self-efficacy, and nurture leadership skills.

  • Professor Coghill guest lectured in my Black Women and Popular Culture course in Fall 2023. They lectured on hip hop feminism and digital misogynoir. Throughout the rest of the semester and into the final course evaluations, my students told me how much they enjoyed Prof Coghill from their probing questions to their deep knowledge and thorough engagement with the subject matter and the urgency of this cultural moment - my students were grateful and excited to continue their own projects on the topic.
